Special Ops Leo is an altered form of Leo, the Lion Cub, like his original form, only appeared in AK series. He first appeared as the boss animal in Ver.2, and is obtainable as a Gold Rare card in Ver.3.

Trivia
- He looks almost exactly like the regular Leo the Lion Cub, but with a bandaid on his muzzle, a cross shaped scar on his right cheek and a bandage wrapped around his left foreleg
- During the skill "Griffining Attack", Leo's eyes turn to a piercing yellow, his pelt changes to a deep orange, mane turns to red and his paws fade to yellow. He will also sprout a pair of fiery wings which he will use to carry his opponent into the sky
